# Makes ??? bowls
### notes
- maybe try cinnamon with the coco powder?
- used 100g each of 4 different types of dried beans last time
- soak beans in salted water next time
- beans stop getting softer from cooking after added to acid and firm up slightly
## Ingredients
- [ ] bell peppers 3 [^1]
- [ ] onion 1-2
- [ ] crushed tomatoes 800g
- [ ] tomato paste 510g [^3]
- [ ] beans 1700g canned [^2]
- [ ] corn 500g frozen
- [ ] coco powder
- [ ] all spice
- [ ] cumin
- [ ] coriander
- [ ] garlic powder
- [ ] oregano
- [ ] mace
- [ ] parsley
- [ ] paprika
- [ ] red chili pepper
- [ ] sage
- [ ] salt
## Tools
- ???
## Steps
- cut onions and bell peppers into 0.5-1cm chunks and fry in pot
- dump everything else in and simmer for an hour

[^1]: red have more developed flavors due to being more ripe
[^2]: pinto, black, navy, and red kidney beans work well
[^3]: can be substituted with double the amount of crushed tomatoes but needs to simmer for longer
