## Ingredients

- [ ] all purpose flour 180g
|

- [ ] baking powder 1/2 teaspoon

- [ ] butter 227g (16 tablespoons)
|
|
- [ ] sour cream 113g
|
|
## Tools
|
|
- mixing bowl
|
|
- whisk
|
|
- rolling pin
|
|
## Steps
|
|
- mix flour, salt, and baking powder
|
|
- cut butter into thin slices
|
|
- mix butter into flour mixture until its uneven and crumbly, with large chunks of butter remaining
|
|
- mix sour cream with flour mixture to form dough
|
|
- place dough on well floured surface and kneed a few times
|
|
- pat dough into rough square and roll into a rectangle approximately 20cm by 25cm
|
|
- flour both sides of the dough and then fold into thirds on the shorter side
|
|
- turn the dough 90° and roll the dough back into a rectangle 20cm by 25cm
|
|
- fold the dough into thirds and then place in fridge for at least 20 minutes
|
|
|
