Jam Raspberry Rhubarb 3 Jars

  • Freezing and thawing raspberries beforehand can soften them up

Ingredients

  • raspberry 600g
  • rhubarb 300g
  • sugar 450g
  • pectin 50g
  • lemon juice 15g (half a leamon)

Tools

  • bread machine
  • blender

Steps

  • blend raspberries and rhubarb
  • add all ingredients to bread machine
  • start on jam setting

Canning

  • as soon as jam is finished pour into canning jars
  • leave about 2cm space at the top of the can
  • place lid on can and secure gently with ring
  • place cans into large pot
  • fill pot with water to 4cm above jars
  • bring pot to a boil for 1 hour
  • remove cans from pot and let cool
