Ingredients
- water 350 mL (~12 fl oz)
- milk 350 mL (~12 fl oz)
- loose leaf ~2 tbsp
- sugar 2 tbsp
- cardamom 2-3 pods
- cloves 1-2 cloves
- cumin
- ginger
- cinnamon (like half a stick or so)
- black pepper
- all spice
- nutmeg
- fennel
- anise
Tools
- pot
- strainer
- ladle
- stirring spoon
Steps
- boil water in pot
- turn heat to medium high add black tea leaves to water and let boil for 20-40 seconds
- add sugar and spices to tea 1 2 3
- turn down heat to medium and let it sit for 30 seconds
- add milk and turn on medium high heat while stirring infrequently
- once cha starts to boil over take off heat and stir till calmed then put back on heat. repeat 2-3 times
- aerate between vessels before serving (optional)
