--- title: Kombucha - Raspberry Rhubarb draft: true --- ## Ingredients - [ ] [Kombucha Scoby](/recipe/kombucha-scoby/) 6 parts by volume - [ ] fruit puree 1 part by volume - [ ] rhubarb 1 part by weight - [ ] raspberry 2 parts by weight ## Tools - blender - strainer or cheese cloth - flip cap bottle ## Steps - dice your chosen fruit - place diced fruit in blender and purée it - strain the fruit purée through a cheese cloth to separate the fiber and pulp from the liquid [^1] - pour the kombucha scoby and fruit purée into a flip cap bottle - close the bottle and turn it upside down a few times to evenly mix in the purée - let the bottled kombucha ferment for five days in a warm area - place the kombuchca in the fridge for an hour or two before serving #recipe/drink #diet/plant_based #diet/vegetarian [^1]: a fine mesh strainer can also be used for this but takes longer to strain
