--- title: "Soufflé" draft: true --- # Makes 4 Soufflé ## Ingredients - [ ] eggs 3 - [ ] sugar 40g (3 table spoons) - [ ] melted butter 60g (5 tablespoons / 1/4 cup) - [ ] salt pinch - [ ] vanilla extract to taste - [ ] cream of tarter dash - [ ] butter to grease ramekins ### Optional - [ ] melted chocolate 120g ## Tools - stove - mixing bowl 2 - whisk - ramekin 3 ### Steps - preheat oven to 190ºC (375ºF) - separate egg whites and yokes into separate mixing bowls - add and mix butter, salt, and vanilla into, egg yokes - add cream of tarter to egg whites and beat till stiff peaks - add and mix sugar into egg white meringue - add and mix the first mixture to the meringue till incorporated - brush a thin layer of melted butter to on the side of the ramekins - pour into ramekins, smooth off top, and dig a small trench around outer edge of ramekin - cook in oven for 15 minutes #recipe/dessert #diet/vegetarian
