--- title: "Tikka Marinade Paneer" --- ### notes - we should try to make a vegan version of this using some kind of tofu instead? ## Ingredients - [ ] paneer 315g - [ ] greek yogurt 190g - [ ] garlic 3-5 cloves - [ ] bell peppers 2 - [ ] onion - [ ] fresh ginger - [ ] red chili powder - [ ] garam masala - [ ] fenugreek - [ ] turmeric - [ ] salt - [ ] lemon juice - [ ] olive oil 1 teaspoon ## Tools - mixing bowl - mortar and pestle ## Steps - grind garlic cloves and an equal amount of fresh ginger with some oil in a bowl to form a paste - mix paste with yogurt, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, fenugreek, salt, lemon juice, and one teaspoon of olive oil - dice the paneer into ~3cm cube - dice bell peppers and onion to a similar size - place paneer, peppers and onions into the marinade - allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes #recipe/ingredient #diet/vegetarian
