--- title: "Turnover Dough" --- ## Ingredients - [ ] all purpose flour 180g - [ ] salt 1/4 teaspoon - [ ] baking powder 1/2 teaspoon - [ ] butter 227g (16 tablespoons) - [ ] sour cream 113g ## Tools - mixing bowl - whisk - rolling pin ## Steps - mix flour, salt, and baking powder - cut butter into thin slices - mix butter into flour mixture until its uneven and crumbly, with large chunks of butter remaining - mix sour cream with flour mixture to form dough - place dough on well floured surface and kneed a few times - pat dough into rough square and roll into a rectangle approximately 20cm by 25cm - flour both sides of the dough and then fold into thirds on the shorter side - turn the dough 90° and roll the dough back into a rectangle 20cm by 25cm - fold the dough into thirds and then place in fridge for at least 20 minutes #recipe #diet/vegetarian
