--- title: Madeleines draft: true --- # Makes X ??? ### notes - ??? ## Ingredients - [ ] cake flour 130 g (1 cup) - [ ] salt (1/4 teaspoon) - [ ] eggs 2 - [ ] egg yoke - [ ] sugar 120 g (1/2 cup) - [ ] vanilla extract 15 g (tablespoon) - [ ] butter 10 tablespoons ## Tools - stand mixer - beater - mixing bowl - madeleine pan ## Steps - pre heat oven to 190 °C (375 °F) - grease pan - whisk cake flour and salt in mixing bowl - add eggs and egg yoke to stand mixer - beat eggs on medium high until frothy - add sugar and vanilla extract - beat on high until smooth (about 5 minutes) - fold cake flour and salt into the egg mixture - incorporate butter into batter - add batter to the pan until the wells are almost full (about 1.5 tablespoons) - place pan in oven for 5 minutes - flip pan and bake for another 5 minutes - remove pan from oven and place on cooling rack - let cool for 10 minutes - serve #recipe/dessert #gluten_free #diet/vegetarian
