## Ingredients 
- [ ] simple sugar 15g (1/3 fluid ounce)
- [ ] fresh lemon juice 20g (2/3 fluid ounce)
- [ ] gin 60g (2 fluid ounce)
- [ ] fresh basil leaves
- [ ] ice
## Tools 
- shaker
- measuring cup
- muddler
## Steps
- muddle a ton of basil leaves in bottom of shaker
- add ice simple sugar lemon juice and gin
- shake[^1]
- pour over ice and garnish with basil leaf
