+- [ ] fruit puree 1 part by volume
+## Tools 
+- blender
+- strainer or cheese cloth
+- flip cap bottle
+## Steps
+- dice your chosen fruit
+- place diced fruit in blender and purée it
+- strain the fruit purée through a cheese cloth to separate the fiber and pulp from the liquid [^1]
+- pour the kombucha scoby and fruit purée into a flip cap bottle
+- close the bottle and turn it upside down a few times to evenly mix in the purée
+- let the bottled kombucha ferment for five days in a warm area
+- place the kombuchca in the fridge for an hour or two before serving
